What do I need before I can start having driving lesson?
Before the first lesson begins, there will be an eyesight test, bring your glasses if worn) and the photocard licence (just a single part now).
How many lessons will I need in order to pass my driving test?
This will differ from person to person due to learning ability.
Studies show those students who drive independently of their lessons with parents etc learn much quicker.
I’m a student at university and only come home during the holidays, is it possible to take my practical driving test quickly?
This depends on the volume of driving at Uni. Such situations will likely be intensive courses.
Should I take hourly lessons or an intensive course?
Hourly lessons allow you to progress gradually and recap on what you have learned. Intensive courses are 5 or 7 days, 8 hrs per day.
Can I start driving lessons before passing my theory test?
Yes you can. You cannot book the practical test until you have passed the theory test.
How many hours is a typical lesson?
Two hour lessons are very tough, driving standards drop alarmingly after 90 mins, hence I only offer 60 or 90 min lessons.
Are there any advantages by block booking?
No, I have a limit on the number of pupils, once reached I turn away new business.
What make of car will I learn in?
Nissan Pulsar 1.5DCi Tekna fitted with hill hold, all round cameras, blind spot warning system, electronic brake assist, sat nav, lane departure warning system and cruise control.
Which car will I take my practical driving test in?
A choice of my car or your own car.
What is the current fee for the theory and practical driving tests?
Will I have to drive with someone sitting in the back of the car?
On test the pupil has the choice of having your instructor in the back.
